Friday Letters

I decided I would try out Friday Letters and move my I Like It post to Wednesday for the time being.

Dear blog, I am sorry I neglect you sometimes. I promise to spend more time with you in the upcoming weeks.

Dear camera, I never neglect you…and I never will!

Dear Universal, thank you for being such a blast on Wednesday! Kaylee and I definitely had fun on her field trip!

Dear three people sleeping at my house tonight besides my husband and I, please be tired by 1am because I really would like to get some sleep tonight! Yes, I am old and boring sometimes!

Dear old laptop, I am still kind of upset that your screen cracked but I won’t be needing you anymore because I finally got a Mac Book Pro!

The Disney Fantasy

In February, one of my best friends, Crystal started working for Disney Cruise Lines. Since then, I have spent a lot of time going back and forth to Port Canaveral to visit her whenever she is in town. Although I miss her like crazy, I am so happy that she gets to go on such an amazing adventure. Last week Crystal took me on an adventure when she took me on a tour of Disney’s brand new cruise ship, the Fantasy. I can say with confidence that it is the most impressive ship I have been on by far. Not only did they have one of the most amazing water slides ever (it goes over the ocean), they also have a large movie theater, an Irish pub, a French themed lounge, a few clubs, multiple pools, a play room modeled after Andy’s room in Toy Story, and many other fantastic areas.

Music Monday & Mother’s Day in Instagrams

I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother’s Day! My mother’s birthday normally falls right around Mother’s Day so we celebrate all weekend. My mom wanted to keep things simple this weekend so her only requests were church and Starbucks. Here is the weekend in Instagram pictures:

Also, John picked up the new B.O.B. album Strange Clouds this weekend. Just like his first album, you can put it in and press play because every song is great. He is one of the few rappers out there who has lyrics that are not degrading to females. Sadly, that is really hard to find in mainstream rap today. I am loving his current radio hit “So Good”. The song definitely lives up to its name.

I was surprised to see Taylor Swift’s name on the back of the album. I was a little hesitant in regards to their collaboration but I think they sound fantastic together. They both manage to keep their own personal style and sound. I would not be surprised if this was the next single to be released off of this album.

Spring Wedding: Marquis and Maddy Wooten

I had the honor of shooting this beautiful wedding at Lake Mary Events Center. Not only is the couple absolutely gorgeous, they are also both professional dancers! Needless to say, the wedding was both beautiful and fun.  I love being able to do what I enjoy for a living! Extra thanks to John Michael Events for keeping me and my assistant hydrated throughout the day and making sure everything ran so smoothly.

Here are a few of my favorite pictures from Marquis and Maddy’s wedding day!

Music Monday: Mother’s Edition

I hope you all are having an excellent May so far. I recently finished a few big projects for my business so I decided to take a long weekend. My cousin, Julia drove over from Tampa for the weekend and as usual, we had a blast. Thursday night I saw the Avengers in IMAX 3D and I loved it. I won’t give too much away but I will say that I have not heard of anyone who has not enjoyed it so far. Friday night we were lucky enough to get in free to the VIP section at Blue Martini. It has been awhile since we have had a night out and we figured we would go out on Friday to avoid the Cinco de Mayo crowds the following night. On Saturday, Julia and I headed over to Clermont to go to Florida’s largest wine vineyard (more on that later).  We spent that afternoon on the lake and that night playing countless hours of Rock Band. My younger cousins from Miami were also visiting so we spent most of Sunday at my uncle’s lake house in the west Orlando area. It was definitely the perfect little four day break to recharge my batteries and now I am back and ready to work really hard this week!

I decided that since this Sunday is Mother’s Day, I would stick to that theme for Music Monday. There are quite a few songs out there that celebrate mothers but there are three that I really love. Hope you enjoy them all as much as I do!
